Menominee V. Riverside

After watching the Maroons play Antigo, I think this will be an interesting contest. Menominee's defense showed that it could hold it own even with the size disadvantage they had against the much larger Antigo line. Menominee also will be getting back one of two suspended players that will help add some size to their lines. The back field looked to have some impressive speed with Schewe at tailback and Briar at fullback. Looking forward to this game and would like to hear some feedback. GOO MAROONS!

Riverside lost a lot from last year's team and not a lot of people were surprised by their big loss to Catholic Memorial. Milwaukee Riverside in my mind is still the favorite to win the City league while getting a challenge from Milwaukee King.

Harbor beach runs the t. Play in a decent small school league over in the thumb. They went 9 and 0 last year and won a few games in the playoffs. They lost to Saginaw nouvel28 to 7. They return like 16 starters from that team. A slew of all league players and I think one all stater. This will be a big step up competition wise from the rest of there schedule, but I suspect that is what they wanted. Mindset is win a state championship this year, I would guess. I'll take Menominee by a pair of touchdowns at least

Is this a fill in game for both teams?

The Harbor Beach Pirates are coming off an 11-1 season last year, losing in the Division 7 Regional Final to Saginaw Nouvel Catholic. HB is a Class C school with an enrollment of 245, and they play in the Greater Thumb Conference, East Division, along with Brown City, Sandusky, Marlette, Memphis, and Ubly.
They've started out 2-0 this year, beating Bad Axe 51-0 and Sandusky 22-18 last night. Sandusky ran for 259 yards on 53 carries vs. Harbor Beach, with only 2 pass attempts.

I think HB runs some spread to. They do return a ton from last year. Should be a fun game I would think.

Yeah trez they sprinkle in some spread stuff i believe, not sure they have ever seen anything like meno before tho. Your right should be an interesting game. I think they only have like 22 players, that could be an issue, maybe they have 11 A@# kickers tho.
