MHSAA PLAYOFF BRACKETS The history of the playoffs is much more interesting to look at when you are viewing the entire bracket. That is what inspired this project. I have done my best to get all the teams in the correct Region and with the correct record. The latest brackets should even have the seeding for each District or Region based on playoff points that were accumulated from the regular season. These brackets were designed to be viewed with your display settings at 1024 by 768 pixels or greater. If you do not know what I am talking about then follow these instructions: Go to your Desktop, right click, select "properties", select the "settings" tab, and adjust your screen area to 1024 by 768 pixels if it is not already there. All the brackets should fit nicely on your monitor and there should be no need to scroll if you have the display settings as I have suggested. To print these brackets to look like they do on the web page you will have to print the background with the page. Otherwise the framing for the brackets will not appear and you will only see the text. To print the brackets with the background follow these instructions: On your internet explorer web browser go to "Tools". Then on the drop down menu select "Internet Options". Once in the "Internet Options" page select the "Advanced" tab. Then scroll down to "Printing" and check the box that says "Print background colors and images". These brackets will be able to fit on one sheet of paper provided you set the margins correctly when printing. Here are some notes of interest on the history of the MHSAA High School Football Playoff system
I welcome any of you who would like to help with this project. It sure would be great to get everything entirely accurate. I would really appreciate any corrections anyone would like to point out. I would also like to get the entire seeding of the Regions and Districts if anybody can help me out with that. I was planning on going to go to the library and researching old playoff point totals for all of the brackets, but unfortunately the newspapers archived in the area I live in did not print much of that in their newspapers. Obviously I am going to need a lot of help with this. Anyone willing to help out can contact me at this email address. |
